It’s In The Mix is one of the achievements in Maldraxxus. Completing this achievement will reward you with the toy Smelly Jelly. Parts of this achievement are also required for the Hulking Deathroc mount and the Oily Invertebrate pet.

It’s In The Mix
Defeat all seven creations from the Pool of Mixed Monstrosities.
- Pulsing Leech
- Oily Invertebrate
- Violet Mistake
- Corrupted Sediment
- Gelloh
- Boneslurp
- Burnblister
To summon these creations, you have to loot ingredients and drop them in the Mixing Pool at /way 58.2, 74.2 . There is a world quest in the area, but creations can also be summoned when the world quest is not up.
The ingredients can be looted from mobs in the area around the Pool.
- Red slimes drop Viscous Oil
- Blue slimes drop Mephitic Goo
- Yellow slimes drop Miscible Ooze
Right click a slime after defeating it to collect the colored slime.
Summoning the creations from It’s In The Mix
Dropping 30 ingredients into the pool will summon a creation, depending on the combination of ingredients. Above the pool you can see a counter of what has been added so far.
Pulsing Leech is made from at least 15 red ingredients. For example;
- 15 red, 7 yellow and 8 blue
- 18 red and 12 blue
- 20 red, 6 yellow and 4 blue
- 29 red and 1 blue or yellow
- 30 red
Oily Invertebrate is summoned by combining 10 red, 10 yellow and 10 blue.
Violet Mistake can be summoned by combining equal parts of red and blue. Some yellow is allowed, but it should be less than the amount of red and blue. For example;
- 12 red, 12 blue and 6 yellow
- 13 red, 13 blue and 4 yellow
- 15 red and 15 blue
Corrupted Sediment can be summoned by using at least 15 blue ingredients. For example;
- 15 blue, 7 yellow and 8 red
- 18 blue and 12 yellow
- 20 blue, 6 yellow and 4 red
- 29 blue and 1 red or yellow
- 30 blue
Gelloh is made from at least 15 yellow ingredients. For example;
- 15 yellow, 7 blue and 8 red
- 18 yellow and 10 blue and 2 red
- 20 yellow, 6 blue and 4 red
- 29 yellow and 1 red or blue
- 30 yellow
Boneslurp is summoned by combining equal parts of yellow and blue. Some red is allowed, but it should be less than the amount of yellow and blue. For example;
- 12 yellow, 12 blue and 6 red
- 13 yellow, 13 blue and 4 red
- 15 yellow and 15 blue
Burnblister’s recipe consists of equal parts of yellow and red. Some blue is allowed, but it should be less than the amount of yellow and red. For example;
- 12 yellow, 12 red and 6 blue
- 13 yellow, 13 red and 4 blue
- 15 yellow and 15 red
The most challenging part about this achievement is that other players can also drop ingredients in the pool and mess up your recipe. The easiest way to complete It’s In The Mix is to find a group of like-minded people and do the achievement together.
Note that the achievement requires you to kill creations; not summon them. You can participate in killing a creation summoned by other players to get credit for the achievement.
How to get the Hulking Deathroc mount
The Slime-Covered Reins of the Hulking Deathroc has a chance to drop from Violet Mistake. It is not a guaranteed drop, so you might need to kill Violet Mistake several times to get your Hulking Deathroc. The drop rate seems to be around 3-5%, and your first Violet Mistake kill of the day has a significantly higher chance to drop the mount.
How to get the Invertebrate Oil pet
Invertebrate Oil has a chance to drop from Oily Invertebrate. The droprate is not 100%, so you might need multiple kills before you receive your pet.
How to get the Smelly Jelly toy
You will receive the Smelly Jelly toy when you complete the It’s In The Mix achievement.
